It started with my daughter.
When my daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease at the age of 12, our everyday life changed almost overnight.
One of the biggest challenges was something that had always seemed so simple: bread. Finding gluten-free bread that was safe for her, but also soft, fresh and actually tasted good, wasn't easy.
I wanted her to be able to take a normal sandwich to school, enjoy her lunch with friends, and not feel like she always had to settle for something different just because she had celiac disease.
So I started baking.
What began in our home kitchen as a way to make life a little easier for my daughter slowly became something much more. I kept working on my recipes until I could make gluten-free bread that our family truly enjoyed. Bread that was soft, delicious and made with care.
That is how GF Bread Delights began.
Today, I bake breads, bagels and rolls for other families too, with the same care and attention that started it all in my own kitchen.
Because everyone deserves to enjoy good bread, gluten-free or not.
